I became interested in photography as a hobby 2 years ago while on a road trip across the country. I had originally planned to use my film degree to make short videos, but photography ended up being much more fun. My video camera was relegated to my trunk and I bought myself a D40.

Since then I have moved to Thailand for work and I’ve begun documenting the country around me with my camera.

I typically prefer “street” and casual photography, focusing on animals and an attempt to portray my environment.

Otherwise I simply write about the more important realizations and events that I encounter while I’m living on the other side of the world.
